Starlink carried 168.21 petabytes of fixed internet data in the fourth quarter of 2025, a 35.05% share of the market, according to POTRAZ figures reported by The Zimbabwe Independent. Six months earlier its share stood at 22.54%.
Liquid Intelligent Technologies remains the largest carrier, with a narrowing lead. Its traffic fell 10.54% in the quarter, from 259.70 to 232.32 petabytes, and its share dropped from 58.90% to 48.41%. Starlink’s traffic grew 42.76% over the same period, The Herald reported.

TelOne and PowerTel also grew in the fourth quarter, by 35.01% and 32.25%, from a much smaller base. TelOne held 8.32% of traffic in mid-2025.
Satellite connections, the category Starlink falls under, reached 86,488 in the first quarter of 2026, 17 behind the 86,505 fibre connections, according to Space in Africa.
